How can you help?
Cash Contributions
Any cash contribution would be used to assist in the fulfillment of the Head Start Performance Standards. Cash contributions would be used to purchase goods/services that directly benefit the Child Development Program activities. For contributions to be considered allowable, they must be for the same type of items that the agency would be allowed to purchase using federal funds.

Classroom Supplies
Supplies to be used for Training Teaching Staff
Contribtuions of Services or Goods
Any contributions of services or goods would be used to assit in the fulfillment of the Head Start Performance Standarads. Carpentry: Center Fix-up, Playground Upkeep
Clerical/Computer Skills: Help put together the classroom Parent Newsletter
Cooking: Help to prepare a meal for the classroom or special event, Share a special recipe in a "food experience" with the children
Gardening: Visit the center and help the children plant a garden/flowers
Love to be with children: Volunteer in the classroom, Ride the bus route daily
Meeting New People: Help with enrollment of new families
Play a musical instrument: Visit the center and play/sing songs with the children/Share your love of music at a Family Gathering
Organizatoinal Skills: Serve on other program committees
Service on committees: Serve as a representative on policy council or a program committee
Sewing: making bean bags, classroom curtains, children's dress-up clothes
Singing: Visit the center and join in on large group activities/songs
Skills and Training in Early Childhood: Help plan parent training sessions, review and make recommendations on curriculum
